Minna Nyberg is a vocal coach experienced in teaching both solo singers and choirs. She is appreciated for her fine singing technique, knowledge of vocal care and ability to shape her teaching methods according to the needs of the individual singer or ensemble. Minna focuses on developing a simple singing technique that highlights the natural voice.
She has coached singers since 2008 when she graduated as a music teacher from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. In 2015 she started working as a singing teacher at Esbo Arbis. She also collaborates on a regular basis with choirs, helping them and their individual singers develop their singing technique as well as helping them develop a united sound. Since 2016 she works as the first ever vocal coach for the well-known Female Voice Choir Lyran. Minna has also collaborated with The Academic Male Voice Choir of Helsinki and Ceciliakören as well as several other choirs
Minna furthermore coaches singers in stage performance. She teaches the class Opera i grupp (opera ensemble) at Esbo Arbis in which she stages singers in ensemble pieces from operas and musicals. Furthermore she teaches and organizes the summer course Song, Poetry and the Stage – Master Class in Singing Technique and Stage Performance, held annually in Helsinki.
